I removed 16GB and overclocked the RAM to 3400Mhz - No issues (All 4 sticks of RAM were tested this way to ensure it wasn't a RAM issue). I reset my 32GB RAM speed to 2000Mhz, then 2400Mhz and found no more BSOD while gaming. X-Plane 11 popped up memory error messages continuously. As such I ran it at 3000Mhz.Ī year later I started getting BSOD and mouse issues while gaming. My RAM was rated at 3400Mhz but I could never run it at this speed, which I attributed at the time to the ASUS MB BIOS needing further updates. When I built my 8700K System 2 years ago, I unfortunately bent some of the CPU socket receptors on the Motherboard ( I think, maybe came that way, not sure).
